Welcome to my corner of the internet! If you're here, chances are you share a love for music, especially the profound and intricate world of Indian Classical Art forms. This space is more than just a portfolio for my projects; it's a living journal where I'll be sharing my own musical journey, explorations, and learnings, and hopefully, connecting with others on their unique artistic paths.

For as long as I can remember, music has been less of a hobby and more of a life force. It's the language that transcends words, the discipline that hones the mind, and the endless well of creativity that constantly inspires. My heart beats particularly for the rich tapestry of Indian Classical Music, with its deep traditions, complex melodic frameworks (Ragas), and intricate rhythmic cycles (Talas).

This blog is something I've always wanted to create – a dedicated space to express my musical ventures. Here, you'll get a glimpse into my daily experiments, the rewarding (and sometimes challenging!) practice sessions, and the exciting experiences gained through various projects and collaborations. I believe that sharing these moments, both big and small, fosters a community of learning and growth.

Lately, I've been deeply immersed in the fundamental yet incredibly rewarding practice of scales, specifically exploring the ten Thaats – the core scale systems of Hindustani classical music. It's truly fascinating to unravel the nuances of each Thaat, understanding their unique characteristics and how they form the bedrock of countless ragas. The process is incredibly gratifying, and I'm currently using a fantastic app that helps me conquer these complex scale systems and then practice them diligently across various tempo combinations.

Beyond just the notes, I'm also experimenting with the "tonal advancements" – what we refer to as Alankaar. These are the melodic patterns and ornaments that bring life and character to a raga. It's where the dry theory begins to bloom into expressive artistry, and each practice session reveals new insights into the subtle beauty of our classical tradition.

So, whether you're a seasoned musician, a budding artist, or simply someone curious about the magic of Indian classical music, I invite you to join me on this continuous journey of learning, discovery, and artistic expression. Let's explore the endless possibilities of sound together!
